Ingredients:

  • 600g white fish fillet (e.g., cod or haddock)
  • 300g asparagus
  • 200g boiled potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Skillet
  • Baking sheet
  • Pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  • Wash and trim the asparagus, then place it on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the asparagus and season with salt and pepper. Roast in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  • While the asparagus is roasting, season the fish fillets with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  • In a skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the fish fillets to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.
  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain and set aside.
  • Once the asparagus is done, remove it from the oven and serve it alongside the fish and boiled potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley.
